O K For all of you considering a Dawes Device I have found that it does give you a very accurate method of setting the boost level on the 1.8t engine. At standard psi levels it gives a very pleasant faster rise time to the boost build up.I ran mine with the n75 engaged and found no downside.
I then completely bypassed the n75 and cranked up the boost to 1 bar and a complete transormation happened to my motor. It felt like a proper motor should and just maybe how SEAT should have delivered it to all of us straight out of the box.
From my previous post you will read that many had reservations about fueling/timing and advance.
Two weeks down the line I have decided to remove the DD and my car feels shite!!!!
BUT I'm guaranteed that my motor will get me where I am going tommorow
The question is which chip.........
Common sense dictates that I drive to Awesome and have the APR serial port job but like all who peruse these pages I am a manic tinkerer.
Is it right when you examine the Awesome web page that the the APR chip will allow user/PC modification to the program(is anybody aware of this!!!!!)and what are race-gas programs and the like
Like many before I am now sat on a wad of cash and cannot decide where to spend it.
Future upgrades will include a Stainless system/intercooler and panel filter and any ecu upgrade will need to complement this.
Come on then enough of you have run these mods for a long time which one is the best and most reliable:redface:

Is the APR serial port tuning available now? Ive not heard or seen anything yet.

As for adjustment, REVO (http://www.revotechnik.com) offer their SPS3 solution which enables you to change the level of timing and boost level. All thsi is done through the Serial port as is the actual upgrade itself, why not get the free trial software and see what you think?

They are also, later in the year, going to offer a fully functional piece of software to allow serious and experienced people a higher level of adjustment. Its nothing new by all accounts, its been happening for years but not for the masses.

What about doing the 'zorst and filter and everything else, then getting a custom map from Jabba or someone?
