Is that £4 including delivery?
Would there be much point in using this with V Power in a 2.0TFSI that has done under 2k?
I don't know what Seat has in their handbooks, but in my Skoda Fabia one it states "You must not use fuel additives, so-called “flow improvers” (petrol and similar products) in diesel fuel."
I'm sure you as a dealer would not fail to comply with the manufacture instructions and promote these additives.
Having said that I myself use Millers DPS4 in my Furby vRS and have had no problems, I would of course remove the bottle, if I took it back to Skoda for a service or with a problem.

As a direct result of the legal argument quoted here by Jim H -
'I'm sure you as a dealer would not fail to comply with the manufacture instructions and promote these additives'
we will no longer be selling Millers DPS4 from the dealership.
It is really disheartening when people only want to pick holes in what we do but we cant run the risk of someone going down this road even though I use this product myself and have full confidence in it.
However if anyone wants to buy DPS4 off me personally, I will continue to sell it as a private individual.

Yep price includes delivery. The value in additives such as this is directly related to the quality of fuel it is mixed with. It will help immensely with supermarket fuel, which is not great, but isnt recommended with say BP Ultimate which is hugely better than standard stuff. I remember my old 2-stroke motorbike days where using Silkolene Pro-Boost it was dead easy to put holes in pistons by using too much lol
Ref Jim H's post I am being very careful what I say . . . . . .
Best do your own research.

Ah man, I have been selling it for over a year on ebay, here, and at work for £8-£10 a bottle. Its cheapest direct via SCN as most of my stuff sold here is at pretty much cost price plus a very small margin as a 'service' to other enthusiasts. Shame not everybody sees it that way :(

Haha would I do that to you??????
I sell to much of it to stop now, even tho no real money is made on it. I just love shafting Halfords and selling stuff for sensible prices :)
Now that's what I call top service ;)
Don't need any for the minute (got 2 bottles to go through) but I'll give you a shout when I do ;)
As I mentioned, I do not own a Seat, but a Skoda, so can please someone go, check and RTFM their handbook/manual to see if fuel additives are mentioned. Of course if it's not, I have no problem in you selling it. I'm sure I heard that one of the Skoda dealers use some fuel or oil additive in their engines whilst carrying out a service. I may be getting mixed up with Awesome GTI that does or can.
I did not mean that adding these were illegal, but mentioned it was just dis-approved by Skoda.
Something else: Has the normal price of DSP4 gone up in the last few months? I bought a bottle today and it was £10, in October it was only £7.50 at my local Motor Factors in Redcar, N.E England. I suppose it is still cheaper than Halfrauds.

The only additives regularly used by dealers are oil change engine flushes and fuel system cleansers. I used to argue regularly with my Service counterpart that these were a scam and pretty much unnecessary. Why need an engine flush unless the oil hasnt been changed for years and is like treacle? Why need a fuel cleanser when most modern fuel already contains it? Worth mentioning that these were dealer add-ons to maximise profit, NOT manufacturer recommendations.
Millers is different as it boosts poor-to-average quality diesel to an optimum level which almost every manufacturer's performance figure is based on - very few advertised mpg and mph figures can be achieved in the real world outside factory-perfect conditions.
Anyway, the legal argument is there and I dont want anyone confusing genuine parts with aftermarket products. The bottom line is that if you fit parts or use products not specifically endorsed by your vehicle manufacturer, if a problem ever arises you will need to pursue the product manufacturer NOT the carmaker.
As for price, every seller chooses their own selling price based on their cost. It sells for £9-£15 depending on where you buy it. Ironic that the bulk purchasers probably buy it cheapest and sell it dearest . . . . . . .
I wonder if all Dealers allow / condone the use of Shell V+ or BP ultimate? these have "additives" as extra on top of normal fuel. surely putting in an additive or buying fuel with an additive already in it is just the same.
my 2cents worth.

Correct.
Any car manual will say do not use fuel additives. Shame all the fuels in the pumps contain a cocktail of additives. So basically they are saying don't fill up.
I'm sure in High powered turbo cars (eg Evos etc.) it may states you should use higher grade octane petrol (98+ RON). In older cars (pre 92), some engines need to run with additives (Lead or Lead Substitutes) to stop valve wear. There are several additives that are approved by the FBHC (Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs).

I do have to say it is not a SEAT product and not endorsed by them. - as we are SEAT dealers we have to be very careful

Its absolutely cracking stuff this. On my FR TDI with its wonderful DPF  after 16k miles of driving on normal black stuff it really started to feel a bit bogged down. After running a couple of tanks with this stuff added it now feels much stronger and I dont get as much running rough as I used to as presumably its regenning less. It also feels more punchy low down in the rev range and doesnt seem to rely as much on the turbo to get the car shifting.
I know theres a lot of doubters in these type of products but if you run cheapo supermarket diesel and then suddenly switch to using this you can certainly feel the benefits. I'm guessing if you use always use nice Super Diesel at the extra cost all the time you will see little if no difference but not many of us can afford to run 119.9p all the time :D

Its pretty much the ONLY non-VWG thing I sell, and I have run it myself in everything from a high mileage Alhambra through a brand new Leon FR TDI and now in a high mileage Merc C220 CDI.
Thats in addition to other family cars, V6 TDI Touareg, Clio DCI etc etc
All are usually run on Tesco or Asda fuel and the Millers gives the required quality improvement to make them run as if they had BP Ultimate or similar - difference is the cost.
50 litres of performance diesel can be an extra £3 a tank, a shot of Millers cost 90p. I occasionally double-dose mine and its still cheaper.
Just wanted to say thanks for the really quick delivery :D
Ordered 18th - Delivered 20th

I would personally say yes - anyone who has used it has seen an improvement after a tank or two.
Each to their own, but for £9 its not a lot of money :)

If it is used in the recommended doses it will do absolutely no harm but I reckon you will notice a difference. For the 1st tank, use a double-dose as a system cleanser.
