Right guys, try to make me see sense - 1st off - I want a turbo, Iam in the process of sourcing parts, but my heart tells me it would just be to much hassle and that I should just go out and buy a 2nd hand Ibiza 20VT - I had planned a shit load of mods - bodywise and engine wise - but I just keep thinking it would be easier to get an Ibiza, and chip the bugger -
Another thing as the missus wants on the insurance in January, she likes the colour of my cordoba ( Kiwi Yellow & Red ) but she says its to big and an Ibiza would be more her size -
Do you think I should sell out and sell the Cordy to get an Ibiza ??

ovv,
ok for a start matey!, us cordy owners are a rare breed, so hold onto it, mods are better done to the cordy cause you dont have to worry so much about warranty nightmares, get the turbo done, and enjoy being the only turbo'd cordy owner in the uk!, also, the cordy is an ibiza with a high back so tell your missus that it isnt too big and to sort herself out.
ibiza total lenghth 3876mm
Cordoba total length 4144mm and also 200 litres extra boot space, for shopping!! Oh and the length difference equates to 278mm about the length of 3 lipsticks!! :hammer:
Turbo WRC lookie like cordy's aint ten a penny anywhere in this world so stand out from the crowd of kitted out beezers and leons, no offence beezer and leon owners, they are lovely motors also!!
And last but not least, although some seat owners who havnt had the pleasure of driving a cordy will argue this but our motor handles the best out of the seat range. there ive said it!! big flames heading this direction, i can see them now!!

Well said Brendy.... I am going to be chopping in the Cordy. Unfortunatley I want more power and getting 200+bhp is very expensive without a turbo.
But Cordys are very rare to start with and a well modded one really stands out
I agree on the handleing. The Ibiza doesn't come close. I'm not going to have another Seat because I couldn't cope with the lack of handling. The Cordoba IS the best car seat have ever made as far as I'm concerened. It's just a shame that Seat couldn't organise a p!ss up in a brewery and didn't give us the RHD Cordoba 20vt.
