View Full Version : 2.0 TDI Touran
Should be picking my new touran up in the next couple of weeks.
What sort of figs can you do for these.
Are the new 2.0's prone to clutch slip like the old 1.9's?
What price is it to please
Thanks

They quote a PD130 getting 163PS and Dan's VRS came out with 173bhp!?
My Altea PD140 came out with 186bhp & 312lbft on Awesomes rollers with a Forge remap. No hint of clutch slip by the way, the 2.0 definatly has a stronger clutch.

I believe RS tuning give respectable figures without over est. If you get more its a bonus ;)

I have a 136 touran and tuned it myself to just over 190bhp....as you would expect the clutch did slip..........a lot
detuned down to 175-180 and its much happier but I can get clutch slip if I purposely drive it wrongly ; )
Today its running 160ish bhp due to the price of oil : (

Surely torque figures would be better to mention with clutch slip
 Hello Richard how are you doing, long time no speak.
Lost touch with you after you left Forge how's business ?
Do you have any packages for Z3 2.8 ????

totally agree, with the touran it is a combination of the torque and the weight. Most tourans are bought to carry a few passengers too so think about that bit when its tuned.
