Fitted Alpine cda 9822ri to mk1 Leon

Can anyone help, original Aura headunit was working fine. Just fitted the above Alpine head unit, came with the alpine to iso wiring loom, all the colours lined up etc.

Unit powers on but when I turn off and take out keys it completely resets itself, ie. doesn't seem to be liking the permanent power feed from the battery. I don't have a 12v phase tester handy so does anyone know am I missing something here or am I just gonna have to take a new power supply from the battery?

did you ever get a fix for this this problem mate ?? mine is doing exactly the same....just fitted it. pain in the arse.

Easy fix for this one guys.
The Seat wiring has the Battery +'ve and the Ignitiion +'ve swapped in the ISO connector for the head unit.
So you're ignition switch is cutting power to the circuits in the head unit that hold the settings.

Swap the two leads around (My alpine had extra bullet connectors to do just this.)
From memory they were the red and yellow leads.
Check you manual first to be sure.
