Alana HU - No rear speakers or steering controls

Hi there, I've just picked up a'54 Ibiza FR TDI and realised that the steering controls and the rear speakers don't work - before I go back to the dealer is this likely to be an easy fix to save me the time and hassle? Cheers! :D

OK, I have just made some release keys up (from carbon fibre no less!) and there are no loose connections at the back of the unit. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be the head unit itself? :help:

I also noticed a single yellow wire with no connector on it, could this be the cause? Anyone? Help!:cry:

Been back to the garage and there are no rear speakers fitted! They said it shouldn't have any and there were no wires - I took the panels off and there are indeed no speakers but plenty of swarf where the rivets were drilled out :doh: The speaker wires were also under the carpet towards the boot so I'm going back to show them.
As for the steering controls, all they can find is a disconnected yellow wire - can anyone tell me where this should go and should there be more wires? Thanks in advance :D
