After getting a head ache getting the power cable through the engine bay etc. I now need to know how to get the cable through into the boot. I know you are ment to pull off the interior trim and go under that however i cannot pull it off i have lifted it out at both ends front and back but it seems to be attached in the middle (where the pillar goes) how do i get round that. And also how do i get the wire past the rear seats?

Do you mean the center door pillar?
think there was a screw holding it on somewhere round there.
There are some good threads on Icecavern about running power cables.
I've got the trim out of my Leon at the moment. Came out pretty damn easily for me.
I'm running twin 0 gauge cables (power and earth) down the car and I'm taking them up over the wheel arch with the cars own cables. (helps that my cables are long enough)
There is a thread in the Installs section
(This one ... http://www.icecavern.com/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=3383&view=findpost&p=22594 )
that shows bringing cables (power, speaker and rca) through holes drilled in the metal section which crosses the boot behind the bottom of the seats.
There are holes in this section where the centre seat belt anchor is and they open up either side if the boot. I have managed to get a pair of rca's and 4 speaker cables through so there should be enough room for some power cable.
Check out the "Steve's Leon Install Diary Parts 1 - 4" for details.

Hope this helps a bit.
Cheers,
Steve
