I'm interested to find out what dealers are used in the Midlands area - especially West Midlands, as I was talking to my salesmen at All Electric about how SCN does not have a nominated dealer for discounts etc in my area, and with my project cordie looming, discounts would be very much appreciated ;)
I use All Electric Halesowen (for sales and parts), and Barlows Wolverhampton (for servicing)
Discuss... :D
I've used Barlow's for the last 2 years, and brought both my Arosa and my Leon Cupra from them.
I've always had excellent service from the sales team, and OK service from the Service Dept., never been to all Electric didn't like the Idea of a MG Rover mechanic messing with me motor.
I belive Barlows is the oldest Seat Dealership in the UK so can't be all that bad.
By the way any news on the Cordy Project??

Barlows are - but I'm not overly impressed with their sales staff - which I can say is the toal opposite with AE. Although, like you say, AE isn't the best for servicing.
As for the cordie - i have found one - just got one slight problem - no-where to put it at present :(
Know anyone with some free drivespace!? ;)
I've always used Listers Seat in Coventry, cos its only 5 mins from my house and the sales team are pretty good. The servicing not bad, but essentially it aint good either.... All the work I've had done has been fine and to a high standard, however, it does seem quite expensive, there is never anywhere to park your car, and I have always had to book a service at least 3 weeks in advance....:(
Although I've never been to Leicester Seat, I have had a quote from them for a service, and they were a good 30-40 quid cheaper, which more than covers the extra fuel I'd use, they also were able to book me in within a week, and they seemed on the whole very helpful.....:)
Lister have recently moved a lot of their used cars over the road, so there looks to be a bit more parking space now whenever I drive past, so when the 10K service comes up (just past 5K today:eek: ) I will probably give Listers one more chance, depending on the price difference.....

I use Listers Coventry too, but that is only because that is where I bought it from and im still getting minor issues smoothed out.
After these are sorted I eill be looking for somewhere closer as I live in Cradley Heath. So Cov is a fair distance to have to travel.
I would be interested in info on the Wolvo & or Halesowen branches

Interior bits would be fine :p
Listers were a bit annoying when I was looking for my Cupra. I drove all the way up from Oxford to look at one, only to find they had mis-quoted the mileage by several thousand on both the web and the phone. Also the car had some damage to a front wing which they said they hadn't noticed. I'd specifically asked about the car's condition on the phone too. Minor quibbles, and I'm sure they were both accidental, but I thought I'd mention them. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful, but I have no experience of the servicing.
MK SEAT (http://www.mkseat.com) just cos everyone knows me & they've not started turning the lights off when I pull up
