Installed a Panasonic SatNav unit in the Micra tonight, only the damn thing's CanBus'd to buggery so I have no speed pulse wire to tell the SatNav we're moving
Now it was only a trial installation to make sure everything works before I fit it in the Toledo, but will the ECU feeds for the TFSI (Mk5 Golf/A3 8p) setup need a (£80) speed pulse generator too - in which case I'll just buy one - or do they have speed pulse feeds for the radio volume etc ??
Don't really want to have to spend the money now if I won't need it long-term :blink:
...might check round the scrappers for wrecked taxis, cos apparently they need them so the meter ticks over correctly
