Search By Product Or Search By Car Type?

Just wondering what people prefer and find easier to do?

We've already tried to encorperate both option without success so we're thinking or scrapping the categorie search and just have the search by your car type, opinions would be gratefully recieved.

car type is usually easier for me, but sometimes you find things in other car types that you use on others

I think car type is easier but I'm not sure why you can't do both mate?

Did you develop the site yourselves or do you use some third party CMS? I'm a web developer by trade by the way ;)
