Evening all,

Got a stupid question for you...I've just removed the H/U from my '03 spec Leon Cupra to fit a nice new install & like a moron I left the Cassette in the Changer with some CD's in I want :(

So the question is that now power & control has been removed with the original Head Unit is there a way to get the Cassette out or have I lost my CD's???

Ta muchly

Neil

not sure if the stock changer has a manual eject. if not,
whip out your new head unit, reconnect the power and cd changer cable of the stock one.
also reconnect the changer. no need to put them in place if the cables will reach. (physically hold the head unit or balance on the top of the gear stick!
power up and eject.
I've had to do this in the past with my own (non seat) cd changers. bloody annoying!
good luck!

edit.....
thinking about it, I think you can get to the changer cable by just removing the side panel of the dash. (same as the fuse box panel)

Yes it needs power, you have no choice, sorry.
