Hi guys and welcome to SCN!
Due to a recent remap, i'm suffering from a bit of clutch slip and looking at the Spec stage 2 clutch. I'm driving the Leon pd150 6spd, engine code ARL. I am just looking for a unit that will fit straight onto my oem DMF. I think the number of the clutch needed it SA492-3, but i'm sure you guys will put me straight!
would it be possible to have a shipped price to the UK?
thanks
Paul
The Spec one doesn't jive with the DMF, it'll have to be a SMF set up with it

hmmm, just had an email back from David Norton at Spec telling me that it is for the oem DMF

They do two clutches, one is a kit designed to work with a SMF and the other is one designed to work with DMF :)
Really, no one told me about this when I was getting mine done, AFAIK it was only the Sachs one that was for the DMF all others were SMF
I could be wrong, not that that happens often;)

If you check their website they list two options - one is for their own SMF and one is designed to mate with an OE DMF.
I'm still undecided which way to go myself - depends what happens with the turbo but their prices are VERY good with the exchange rate as it is :)

here it is (http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=113_1783_1792_1795&products_id=10604). They do that many its quite confusing and I only found this one today. The only thing is the warranty only stands if you have a new or refurbed flywheel
Are you sure this will fit the LCR???
It states its for NA engined cars of 1.9L

ARL and PD150 gave it away for me, that LCR bumper thing has had me confused many times - although i thought the box was the same?

i'm trying to get my head around which SMF to go for if I decided to go down that route (seeing as their are bargains to be had if importing)..i know spec do their own, but would the G60 also fit?
The DMF are also considerably more expensive than the SMF variants

G60 will NOT fit - it's for the 5spd box only which is an expensive nuisance :(

bugger! Have you been looking at any other SMF's than the Spec models?

No, primarily because they're such a good price and i know they've been used before.
Wow I didnt see this thread here this morning? Was it moved by a moderator? For the record some VW 1.8T's came with a stock dual mass flywheel as well.
Paul we do ship to the UK but I would prefer to talk about this via PM.Send me a PM if you dont mind.
