hi folks can anybody shed any light on whether seat will produce the FR in 5 door and what engine will be used, will there be a choice of diesel :) / and petrol ??

1.4 TSI 170 HP
2.0 TDI 140HP

5 door, seems to be likely going by spy pics.

Agree seems likely at this point. Yet they could surprise us with the 1.8TfSI 160-170hp
1.4TSI 150hp
& the jury's still out on whether the 2.0TDI will be PD or CR...

FR 3 & 5 door!
Cupra 3 door only!

Now the real question has got to be if the "Sport-tourer"-Vario Estate/Wagon for any still clueless will be offered in FR trim.:p

I'm fairly sure it'll be common rail. I can't see the 2 litre pd engines being put in anymore new cars.

I reckon the PD too. Seat & Skoda get the cast offs to keep costs down.
