Right, I've heard so much about it, and there are far too many threads for a lazy git like me to read I thought I'd put all the questions together in one thread for the boys that know to answer!

So here we go:

1) Power increase for a Leon R?
2) Torque increase for a Leon R?
3) How much does it cost?
4) What parts are fitted?
5) What is the affect on Insurance?
6) What do SEAT say about warranty cover?
7) What do REVO say about warranty cover?
8) Do REVO offer any kind of warranty?
9) Can it be removed 'without trace' when the car is sold?
10) What is the effect on fuel economy?
11) What is the effect on reliability?
12) Is it 'visible' once it has been fitted?

Don't want to know much do I?!!

Replies gratefully received...

Lol, not too many questions.

Power for mine is 268hp & 279lb/ft rolling road proven

Cost is £499 plus VAT plus whichever SPS module you go for. Pricing is on their website.

No parts are fitted as its programmed via the onboard diagnostics port.

Tell your insurance company, they will need to know. It'll cost more no doubt.

SEAT will invalidate warranty on any parts that fail as direct result of the tuning i.e. turbo failure. That is if they find it which they wont.

Revo warrant their work but not its effect on the car.

Not sure on the removal bit.

Drive it hard and yes it'll use more fuel. Drive it sensibly and it'll be roughly the same.

Reliability is fine as long as you dont rag it from cold and give the engine time to cool properly after a good ragging.

Its totally invisible to VAG diagnostics.

For how long though ? (another 6 months maybe, till VAG gets wise to any similar warranty claims forming)

9) Can it be removed 'without trace' when the car is sold?

well who is likely to detect it any more than the VAG so maybe answered in the same question. My understanding of it is that the programme is broken and encrypted into lots of small bits that are stored on the ecu in a random fashion, so they probably cant be removed - so in theory in the future someone might be able to tell it is on it, alterantively switch it to off when getting rid of it or sell it with it (company cars excluded)

it can be very easily removed....just write it back to stock! all revo dealers are given the stock codes for all ecu's they can write with Revo code. thats why we love it!

Revo dont do a chip for the V5 and even if they did you wouldn't get anywhere near the gains you get from a turbo engine. Maybe 10-15hp if you were lucky.

You should be able to get a few mods. All parts for the Bora V5 will fit the Toledo so you could get an induction kit and a Milltec exhaust. That should give you a bit more oooomph for not too much dosh. I had a Milltec on my old V5 and it sounded superb.

You can get a Supercharger for about £1500. Nick Saron racing do them as well as stealthracing. Spelling may be wrong!

I was going to get one for my golf Vr6 when I had it power gains are something like 250bhp total. Not bad considering the thing starts off with 174bhp.

They may do it for the V5 which If I remember is either 170or 150bhp.
