in these days of connectivity between hardware, is it possible to use an MP3/ipod etc connected to an amp instead of using a headunit?
got a problem with our Beat's unit ie can't alter bass or treble. main prob is that its 17yrs old and is shaped to fit dash so can't replace with another h/u either in dash or elsewhere, also any replacements will be same age and be from japan auctions
speakers are 6in doors with pods of 3 speakers on dash which seem to be treble/tweeters. sub is a 5in in a small amped pod in between seats so again not easy to replace
thinking needs to be 4 channel as not too bothered about sub?
heres hoping:confused:
