Is cable pre installed for CD (98 Toledo SXE)

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before (I didn't search:redface: )

On some VWs the wire for the CD changer is pre installed... I have a Toledo SXE (98) which has the standard head unit which will control a CD... so is the cable there in the boot somewhere or do i have to put it in? And is the CD changer the standard Panasonic one used in VWs...

some did have but it was very rare unlike the newer ones

as for the cd changer - its the grundig MCD6 or 10 that you need if you have the std unit

best bet for the money itll most likely cost is to use a cd changer package of non genuine type as std kit isnt that good

unless you get one cheap of course ;)

Our 1997P 2.0 sport has the cable all ready there. I can remember seeing it under the carpet when i wired the toebar up.
