'Second' car insurance - Adrian Flux.

I phoned Neil at Greenlight to insure my mk2 Ibiza (wot I am flying to Heathrow to collect this afternoon) but they couldn't help as I have 0 ncb. (All used on the Leon).

The search sites weren't any help because of the confusing circumstances. Oddly, I could get credit through being a named driver on wife's insurance for many years or daughters' for a few. I did phone the most promising ones but they were vague.

In the end, Adrian Flux bent over backwards to find me a cracking mod-friendly deal.

Noel Dazely couldn't get their ar$es into gear to return calls or quote in time.

i found adrian flux (if pushed a little) will give you some great deals. i know they gave me £60 odd quid off and loads of extra's.

they are a great insurance, as long as you speak to the correct person

I'm in a similar position, 4 years NCB being used on my Ibiza and i just got 1 yr NCB on a peugeot, but on any search site its classed as 1 NCB even tho if i had a crash i'd go back to 0 NCB's for both policies.

So far on a 110 SE Passat Estate worth 500 quid the cheapest is £418.

Royal pain in the ass.
