Morning Guys!

got me 110 back last night, with a new MAF in it, and wow! its fixed, a nice smooth spin up of the turbo in the first 1000rpm and not lurching etc (well maybe a little on a steel hill when labouring but i really shouldnt be labouring it)

The one thing i did notice though is that its got a little less pull in the lower revs though, but i guess this is how it should be, the duff maf must have been giving it incorrect readings and it was overfuelling or something.

Im just hoping that it hasnt done any damage to the turbo or other parts by it not spinning right (up and down loads, and stalling sometimes) which wont manifest itself till later.... oh well we will just have to wait and see..

anyway..... now for those much needed mods.... :D

mine's back too - 5 days to fit new bumper!!

looking really good now.

Think i'll invest in some 10mm wheel spacers from Halfords to see what it looks like.

Ordered some from demon tweeks.

They need to be 'hub centric' or you get bad vibes!!

They come tomorrow, I'll let you know outcome.

They are 15mm Eibach ones with longer bolts.

Should bring out wheels exactly where i want them

If you've noticed the VW Polo doesn't suffer from rear arch over hang like the beezer does.

The Polo may have different offset to the Ibiza.
For instance, VW 4x100 wheels will fit Vauxhalls with 4x100 hubs but the offset is different & the tyres will rub on the rear arches.
Plus I don't think the arch is flared as severe.

I might get me some spacers soon, but other priorities are on the list.
I'll have a look at Oranges' when he gets them fitted. Should improve the rear end handling a bit (Ohhhh matron!)

Glad the Beezers been sorted Stew.

The 6N Polo uses a different front end to the Beezer hence sits more squarely on it's axles.
The Beezer uses an old Golf style front assembly so I think this is the reason the front track is that much wider than the rear's, which is Polo based - Bit of a factory cut and shut job.
The 6N Polo has a smaller under bonnet area and that's why it only ever had smallish engines, and our SEAT's had more manly affairs up front in the sporty models.

I thought something was funny,
Polo's wheels sit perfect with arches. Beezers look like they've been put on with an over generous hit with a hammer!

Should get me spacers today - should look exactly right.
Then thats all i'm doing.

Keeping to 'wolf in sheeps clothing'

(have a look in ibiza forum at badger bill shopping - a guy has fitted Eibach 15mm spacers to Ibiza - bootifull !!!)

Seen a couple of Beezers with 15-20mm spacers in the flesh at Cupranet trackday, looks so much better.
Amazing the difference half an inch makes (Oooer Missus).
