Carbon Bonnets Mk2 Ibiza

Hi

Spoke to a chap this morning about carbon bonnets for Mk2 Ibiza - basically he is interested in making some but a mould costs £700-£800 and then each bonnet would cost around the £500 mark.

As a guide, Golf 1 and 2 bonnets cost £595 - this includes a portion of the mould cost and the bonnet itself cost.

These bonets are the real McCoy - pre-preg carbon and thus very light. They are a direct replacement and include supports underneath for hinges/locks etc. They will look the dogs bits also.

Is there any genuine interest ? dreamers need not apply.

I think so - lights are different so I would guess the bonnet also.

rob ,does this guy know that the ibiza and mk4 polo share the same hood?maybe able to get prices down if you can find some interst within polodom
