Double Din in Altea

Hi Guys,

New boy here, needing some help....

I have just bought a new HU for my Wifes Altea. The stereo I went for was the Pioneer FH-P80BT

I have managed to remove the old HU, but the double din hole in the dashboard is accutally bigger than the standard 7" x 4", infact it is actually tapered, the front is 7.5" x 4.5", and the back in 7" x 4".

What I would like to know is how do I fit the cage in, do I need to buy something else?

I have ordered a Sat Nav facia from Seat, will this help me fit the unit?

hi m8 have you managed to get this sorted yet? i'm thinking of putting in a Double Din unit myself. does your steering controls work on the unit??
