wondered what that funny noise was......

Following our familie's bammer last night I noticed that the exhaust was looking a bit cackhanded, on closer inspection the weld has corroded/snapped. me dad wondered what the funny noise was.......

anyways, just rung round the well known exhuast places and the cheapest was £88 fitted +vat:eek:

but found one for £50 all in just for the part itself, Id rather do it meself than get some muppet at shit fit to do it. Looks a easy enuff job (famous last words)

Well, thats the easiest exhuast Ive ever changed,2 rubber mounts, 1 clamp, and 1 big tug:) even with out jacking the car up (its not 4"inch off the deck like the Ibiza)

Mind u I doubt I be doing anything with it for a long time... its now 2yrs old with 11,500 Miles on the clock!!!!;)

3.5 years old.....103,000 miles and just about run-in nicely, goes like a rocket now (well in Alhambra terms).

Doubt mine will ever have that much miles on it in maybe in 10yrs!!!

The only time it will get some serious miles on it will be when we hit the continent in the summer.........:jog:
