which stereo???

Gonna upgrade my stereo as the aura is looking a bit old fashioned.... just wondered which aftermarket stereos people have got??? wanna try and link up my 6 disc too and upgrade the speakers in the original holes :idea:

i've been looking too

as for stereo's if you want to maintain the stock look then go for a becker
they look poo, but sound amazing, you wont have to worry about removing face as it just looks like a stock unit

if you want something more bling, go for the new pioneer DEH 7000, it supports bluetooth and you can change the colour to red to match the dash
You cant rig up the changer on any of these, but you can add a little laptop HD and reclaim the glove box space
should cost about 200 quid, you can also stream music off your phone via bluetooth

the beckers are more like 300+, and doesn't support bluetooth streaming, only phone calls

neither of these units look like something from star trek either!
be intrested to see what other ones people use.

personally i'd recommend Alpine every time although pioneer would probably be my 2nd choice (my home cinema system is a pioneer and that sounds awesome)

Get an Alpine 502 or a 505..... I'm after a 502 unit personally. Been playing with one in the tech dept and it's pretty smart.
