View Full Version : Looking for a recommended place to service my car
I am looking for a place to service my car - does anyone have any recommendations for either the Leeds area (where I work) or Burnley/Bradford (I live in a place called Skipton).
Taking your car somewhere for the first time is a bit like visiting a new hairdressers - can they be trusted? :D
All recommendations welcome!
Its a shame that you are not down South cos you would have Amethyst who are superb or you would have SEAT Cheshunt where I got my car from......Don't know of any up North but one of the other guys might!

Lovely part of the country you live in m8 - Malham, Gordale Scar etc etc etc - not to mention the Old Peculiar!!
Did the Pennine Way 3 times and the 3 Peaks (on a rest day!!!) in the late 70's. 270 mile pub crawl.
Perfect roads up there to sort out in the Cupra.

I work in Skipton and live near Burnley.
Should be getting an Imperial Blue Leon Cupra in the next 2 weeks.
I'll probably try the dealership in Waterfoot, they are the nearest to me.
I'll let you know how I get on, although you'll probably need a service before me.

I'm getting my Leon from Seat Importers, just been a bit of a delay as I should have it by now.
Fingers crossed it should be here next week, then 1000 agonizing miles running it in, then another few thousand until I get an Upsolute chip in it :devil:
I sold my FTO about a month ago, so I hope it's worth the wait!
