At an absolute gues, it'd be about 15.9 at best.

It wold be nice to know as a comparison against the petrols

OK..some hard data (mag test):

Stock:
8.8sec 0-100kmh(62mph)
16.2sec 1/4mile
29.9sec 0-1km(0.6miles)

Chipped (flashed ECU) @ 190bhp/410Nm:
7.3sec 0-100kmh(62mph)
14.8sec 1/4mile
27.6sec 0-1km(0.6miles)

Note: Mag tester complained about serious lack of traction, due to the unitīs monted 15" wheels!

The Beezer TDI130 is really transformed after chipping, from a relatively quick car while stock to a speed deamon aftwerwards. What I find most incredible is that a 190bhp Beezer can still easly pull +50mpg if youīre on a granny driving mood.. :D

Surprised its only knocked 2.3 secs off the 1 km.

30-70 and 50-100 are the important figures

Well..27.6sec on the 1km is quite a brilliant figure for a 190bhp FWD car! It puts the little Beezer on pair with a Leon Cupra R (210bhp) or an Audi S3 (210bhp) for instance..
Like I said before, the Beezer is handicapped by extremely long 4th, 5th and 6th gear ratios (way longer than the older and new Audi A3 2.0TDI 16V 140bhp..) and as a result acceleration power after 4th gear is a bit penalized. ;)

Yes indeed but i am surprised it is only 2.3 sec faster than the standard one. The gear ratios dont change when you get it chipped.

Its nice having the long 6th but to be honest 3rd 4th and 5th could all have been reduced abit. If 5th topped out at 100 and the others were spaced round it and keep 6th nice and long that would have been abit more sporting, what we really need is an 8speed audi DSG gearbox very fast shifts and lots of gears. Or more revs!!

Yes indeed but i am surprised

just accept the fact that it's slower, end of story ;)

the 0-100 times for it in autocar are 24.4 secs for the tdi sport (and 0-60 of 8.4secs), so chipped on a good day it may be 18.4 secs and 7.2 secs respectively for the same.

Driveforward got a 7.88 0-60 ( standard car) and high 14s for the quarter mile.

You'd have to check with him for exact figures.

My times are not going to be discussed here.

Rage is just being modest i know he got a 5.2 0-60 and 14.8 0-100 with a 12.4 1/4 mile...so there Leo....

[SBF dream mode off]

he got a 7.2 0-60 and 17.8 0-100 with a 15.4 1/4 mile  almost as fast as the standard R ;)

At least you get 45+mpg (exciting stuff)

 Driveforward must be one hell of a driver..to equal a tuned 190bhp/+300ft-lbs Beezer on the 1/4 mile..
FYI a RWD Honda S2000 (240bhp) does 5.5sec 0-60mph and mid 14īs 1/4mile..a stock FWD Beezer TDI Sport can almost keep up..coooool! :D

Just have my hands on another Beezer TDI Sport mag test..these are the figures:

Seat Ibiza TDI130 Sport

Rolling road figures:
140.6bhp @ 3.850RPM
340Nm @ 2.110RPM

8.88sec - 0-62mph
16.4sec - 1/4 mile
30.09sec 0-1km(0.6miles)

208kmh(130mph) real top-speed @ 4.150RPM 5th gear

Ye but once he let a decent driver try the results were much better;)

Are you going to give up the Exact spec of this 190 bhp tdi?? like what the mods are.

Just modded ecu software. FYI my business partner is currently running his Beezer TDI Sport with 215bhp/430Nm  only with a different ecu software and a lot of boost (~1.8bar), on his otherwise bone stock car. Of course reliability isnīt a priority at the moment..but so far it has lasted a for a few weeks now.. :D

215bhp and 430nm = :D

(That's 317lb/ft for us Brits)

This particular Beezer has run at least 4 different ecu software versions..from stageI (171bhp), stageII (184bhp), stageIII (194bhp) and now stageIV (215bhp). Reliability wise, my bet is that more than a stageII is a bit risky..especially for the turbo! ;)
This "test-car" has also run an open-cone filter (HKS megaflow) that dynoed an interesting improvement of 5bhp on upper-revs (+3500RPM).
Exhaust wise no experimenting has been done yet on the rolling road, but will soon enough.

The local Diesel Touring Car Champion, a Golf PD TDI150, ran 235bhp (on shorter sprint races) and 220bhp (on longer resistance races).
On qualifying runs, something like 250bhp was achieved.
Reliability was excellent, as it only blew a (stock) turbo during all season. The only mods permmited by regulation was free electronics and exhaust, maintaining all other mechanical components 100% stock.

0-60 was 7.83s, but Rage was optimistic with the 1/4 mile.. 16.1s

So they are the exact figures, Rage's will not be discussed here as I just discussed them in the above sentance (except the 0-60 was 7.88) ;) :p

Not hell of a driver enough to prevent people driving into me though :( I just floored it :D

Have you had yours RR'd to give standard power/torque ?

As most of them (130PD) seem to be in the region of 140-145bhp & 240lb/ft

so my guess of 15.9 at best was optimistic.

Star in Scotland in August is being arranged by Ovv i think, but i guess its a bit far to travel for a RR.
