thats the one in question. i would really like the 9887r but i simply cant afford it.
what are peoples views on this one?:)

It's a really good unit, one of my colleagues has it in his car.
Sounds nice, is easy to use and looks smart.
I personally prefer the IDA-X100, but I think this one has better sound quality.

I'm not 100% sure.... I would have thought so. I'll check when I get back into work on Tuesday.
u dobnt ge the i pod cable with it buts it only £20, thats one of alpine high end unit which can enable alpines imprint unit, this enhances ur speakers ive heard it in action and WOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE if i can affors it get the cda-9884r.

Hasn't Ross got that unit in his car? Looks understated but performs v.well!
the unit is totally unbelieveable!!!!! hes got the cda-9887r which is alpines daddy unit but the one i suggested is brilliant!!!
for value for money u cant go wrong!
i ONLY buy alpine you cant really go wrong with them!!!
