just wondering what make and models does everyone have???
Including Amps Subs Speakers Aswell...
you left out alot of makes lol.
I have panasonic. Wish I would have got a alpine headunit. You cannot go wrong with them.
Sony stuff is usually crap/budget so avoid if possible.
My kit is in my sig.
sorry mate im just wondering what people have and what idely they would buy if possible???

I'd go for Pioneer if you want value for money as they have more features than the similarly priced alpine unit, however the alpine units definitely have the best sound quality.
If you are on a tight budget I quite like JVC as they do what they say on the tin.
I would avoid Sony as they are overpriced and overcomplicated.
Never really rated Kenwood either, they seem cheap to me.

Same onh my 3rd ,cos my friend always had I took his advice, he then moved away to Sony and things went wrong, he's back with Alpine now!

looks very OE style, but i bet it sounds a lot better!!
i have factory fit BOSE Audi concert system in the A4 with 10 speakers and stealth sub.
In the KA is a kenwood single slot CD/MP3 running Infinity Kappa 6x9's in the rear, standard crappy Ford speakers in the doors and a Vibe sub and amp install

Pioneer DEH-P8600MP Here
Had it now for 4 years & it's never missed a beat.
Exceptional Sound Quality & has onboard crossovers so I could run an Active front end which is why I was happy to pay the £600 it cost back in 2004.
I previously had Alpine's before this & fancied a change so went with what was at the time widely regarded as one of the very best sounding H/U's outside of Alpine's F1 series.

Alpine for me. Had 2 Alpine units now and can't complain about them at all. The iPod interface is the best that I have used (plug in and then you can can control the iPod from the HU)

Pioneer P90 all the way for me. Oh and plenty of Genesis :funk:
VDO MS4400 for me.
Sat nav, MP3, iPod control and it matches my climatronic...perfect!
Ive got an Alpine CDE-9850Ri and a 1000w JBL Sub and 480w JBL amp. Oh and a 30GB video iPod, and sometimes plug my iPhone in to charge lol. Il get some pics later tonight :)

because alpines are generally the best, and you cannot go wrong with their stuff. Also in the unlikely event something breaks they have got the best customer service and repair department out of the lot.
Also if your planning on playing all your music off a ipod get the x001

Very nice mate! I have the Alpine W202-R in mine. Is your JVC the one with the removable panel? Also does your stereo stick out slightly from the dash (mines sits about a 1/2 inch from the console)

My Arosa came with a JVC headunit - worked perfectly, actually almost better to use than my current Pioneer, although the sound quality wasn't as good. I changed as the CD player bit broke and I decided to upgrade to a MP3 cd player.
New one is a Pioneer, got a good deal on it and it works perfectly. Just use the standard Arosa speakers which I believe are Blaupunkt and it sounds fine :)
Just removed my trusty Pioneer DEH-9400MP ( awesome system) and fitted a Kenwood DNX-7200, wanted a unit that could control My Ipod classic 160Gb and with built in garmin Sat nav it is awesome...this too has built in crossovers so is the hub of a very high spec ststem once I get my Focal utopia comps and sub fitted!!
so the pioneer will be up for sale.........

Hi Alex, Yeah mate its the one with the removable faceplate, although you can screw it in if you wish not remove.....
It sticks about 10mm i guess so its not too bad.
But the Made For IPOD function doesnt work with my new iPhone 3G but works with my Nano.... damn JVC or Apple...
