Hi all. Will be remapping my Leon and adding induction filters etc too in time....just freakin out about insurance. I'm 29 but I'm still getting outrageous prices for insurance!!
My mate who has a modded Cupra R says he's with a company who specialise in insurance for enthusiasts with certain cars only - allowing them to offer decent premium prices.
What companies are you guys with?
Cheers,
Dave.

i'm with admiral...
Am 27, 8 years NCD, and a £3000 fault claim accident within the last 3 year.I have fully comp, with business cover and have my partner on as a provisional.
Am paying £650 which is reasonable to what i paid last year for a V6 vectra
Adrian Flux , because my car has soooo many mods and they do like for like mod insurance , im 28 and my wife is 25 and we pay 750 for fully comp on a 320 bhp monster!!
i'm with privelage
i'm 26 5 years no claims and no accidents. £560 fully comp with all the extras including protected no claims bonus. :D
21, Fully Comp, 3yrs NCB body kit and all mods declaired = £615 :D

Green Light gave me a very competitive quote definately worth giving them a go in my opinion.

do remember folks that it's not just you age/car/excess/ncb etc but also your postcode that affects what you pay . . . I reckon that if we got 20 SEAT owners in a room from one area then they would all be paying different rates to various insurance companies....

Flux quoted me nearly £900 fully comp (FC) for my LCR (no mods, 5 yrs NCB)!!??
Greenlight quoted £473 FC, NCB protection, £250 excess.
Initially, More Than seemed a wee bit cheaper but the 'small print' revealed a very cheeky £500 excess.
Spent fecking hours searching online & trying endless 'price comparison sites' etc, but none could rival Greenlight's quote.

£750 fully comp with bell insurance (+windscreen/breakdown/courtesy car cover), only been driving 10 months, so that looks pretty good compared to the prices above, should be less if you've been driving a few years with no claims, etc

Cheers for the input guys - I'm in London so guessing that won't help the premium price! oh well. Thanks again.

Davey, I don't know if this will be any help, but Adrian Flux gave me £900 Fully Comp, window tints and 3 points declared and I'm only 20 and have 3 years no claims. Seeing as the car's a group 18, I couldn't really argue that! So I would give them a call.
London will make it a bit higher, but I also said I was in an Owners Group and that gives you a bit of a discount!

If you going to keep you car standard, then sainsburys are doing 12 months for the price of 10.
am 25 with 7 years no claims, 2 non fault accidents and got insurance for under £500.
pfft i wish i was getting those quotes haha!
£1800 1 year named driving exp, 20yrs old.
post code is the killer for me:(
thats TPF&F may i add.. fully comp was stupid money.
