Hi folks, I have just purchased my first ibiza cupra mk4 in yellow and want to get the stereo sorted soon.(sub and amp)

Was wondering what the best way to wire in a sub and amp in is?

Is there a set of line outs on the stereo???

Any help appreciated guys.:)

best and easiest way is to invest in a new headunit.

you need some phono converter things. they connect to the rear speaker cable at the back of the standard HU, and convert that into 2 outputs that you need for the sub. Then run the power cable from battery as normal, earth it, and wire the remote wire to either ignition or back of HU also

It can be done, just not as easily as other vehicles

yes you 'could' blow the speakers up with the amp installed but so could i.. you just modify what level you listen to your music at... also it wont hurt upgrading your speakers as they are a weak point with seat's
