New Alpine Stereo not working....Help please?

HI All

I have recently purchased an Alpine C0E-9880R which was working great....

The battery on my car went flat the other day and since it has, my stereo wont work

there is just no power to it at all

I have checked the fuse to the radio and this seems fine. I have checked all the connections to the back of the stereo which also seems fine

does the stereo lock out or something like this for a security aspect?

failing that, if no one can help on here then I will be going back to Halfords and see what they say if indeed it is a faulty unit........:(

Was this just a visual inspection of the fuse? If so, I would suggest testing it with the continuity setting on a multimeter, or swap it with a known good fuse of the same rating, just in case the fuse has blown.

just went to Halfords....the fuse had blown

all sorted and working great now :D
