Hi, I currently use megs 3 step on my lcr, and clay every couple of months with megs quik detailing clay.
I am soon to be living away from home and will not be able to wash my car weekly as I do at the moment. I am looking for a durable wax with a good shine, can you recommend a dodo product to be applied by hand for my situation? I am also thinking some limeprime would be a sensible idea before waxing? My car is Platinum Grey and will be parking outside :( hence the need for a durable product.
Thanks.

For a Dodo wax, my choice for that colour would be Banana Armour. Lime Prime (or Lime Prime Lite - pure cleaner, no abrasive) first to prep the surface and two coats of wax on top. I would expect you to get about 3 months from that.

If you want more durability than 3 months than I would suggest either:

Mark V Glisten (optionally followed by a couple of coats of wax for a little bit extra bling). The Glisten is a sealant, very easy to use and lasts very well.

or

Bilt-Hamber Auto-balm, two coats nothing else on top. Auto-balm is also a sealant and is very durable, but adds the depth and gloss that a wax does.

Hope that helps a bit.

excellent cheers. I will soon be ordering some banana armour and lime prime. The car will be getting a trip home every 6 weeks or so for a wash :D
