View Full Version : it stops!!!
got some pagid fast road pads and decent racing brake fluid fitted yesterday, having to take it easy at the mo to bed them in, already a HUGE difference in pedal feel...
should be good for combe on the 14th, standard brake set-up on my leon was typically VAG, ie, no feel, tonnes of fade, even on the road,
set of pagids have transformed it...:)

Pedal feel prolly better in one respect cos you have 'tonnes of pad ATM' you'll get used to it and want more...MUHAHAHAHA!

mine were still a little soft after pagids and dot 5.1 were put in, sauls were the hardest pedal was pretty solid back in alconbury tho hes got hooge 4 pots iirc
I'm running in my 280s ready for Castle Combe at the weekend. I also have Pagids and 5.1 but with Bill's braided hoses too. Pedal feel is a huge difference with bite right from the top, but my old fluid had been boiled several times so was forgiven for being crap.
The downside is there is more brake dust on my wheels after 3 days than I used to get with my Red Dot setup in a month. No dust from the Red Dots at all, even with grooved disks. Weird.
how much bill charging for hoses?this is a future mod i need to do,got a rather good discount from goodridge, using a cupra sport set up on the cordie.its the same but they just want me to confirm it for them:cheers:
I can't remember what I paid for them. Only got fronts at the moment.

yep, loads of dust on the front wheels, typical of pagid pads, set-up does work well tho...
