My 02 110 went in to the dealer to have the front bumper replaced after a minor shunt...original one had a cut-out air intake on the right side below the fog light. They've replaced it with one that has no intake...does this matter/make any difference?

On my '98 110 it fed cold air to the intercooler

If you mean the black plastic spoiler bit under the main bumper then yes it does need an air feed to the IC on the nearside, this will affect performance quite a bit.

Definately need the intake cut-outs on the spoiler.
As mentioned by prc & beezerdiesel, it feeds the intercooler with cold air. No cold air to the I/C results in a drop in performance.

Get the dealer to change it!
