got my renewal the otherday from churchill £388. shopped about abit cheapest was a saving of £2 with more- than until i decided to do a new customer quote with my current insurer (churchill) and it came in at £318, so i was straight on the phone and they transfered me to customer care, who not only honoured it they offered me £297 cos the misses is insured through them aswell. i drive leon tdi fr, 8yrs ncd, 36yrs old and a named driver, excess £250.
so the moral of the story is get on there case and play them off.:)
