Hey all,
Have a couple of questions I hope you can help me out with. I've been into audio for some time now, am a regular member on TalkAudio (over 13k posts and attended numerous meets); however I'm stumped on how to get my 0 gauge through the bulkhead! Below is a picture of my engine bay - if anyone could point out where to feed the cable through that would be great.

Secondly, my Alpine x001 headunit needs some kind of fascia I think as it's much smaller than the stock unit. Could anyone point me in the direction of one of these?

Many thanks!
Dan

Running a Kenwood 1000w rms amp @ 1 ohm, powering a OZ Matrix Elite 15 inch sub ported :) I've always had 0 gauge, often running much larger systems.

I looked in your thread mate and the picture that shows the cable going into the bulkhead isn't very clear as to where exactly the grommet is :(

Afternoon Mr Kineticz :)

How are thee???

Suprised you didnt post this on TA to be fair ;)

Blade's done his & Myself, Orca & Bassjunkie had a hand in on doing mine.

Orca & Bassjunkie sorted the feeding out but I think it goes in under the Pollen Filter.

Will have a peek tonight see if I can get some pics of where it goes through but it might be worth having a word see if they can point you in the right direction to begin with :)

See you on TA :)

Neil

it is under the expansion bottle, the grommit is roughly where the passangers feet is.

Woohooooo I found the grommet, cut a nipple off, and fed it through. Was a tight fit but I got it through in the end :D

Soundwave, I've already spoken to Blade mate, he said he couldn't find the grommet so drilled, which I didn't wanna do. I've done it now anyways, cheers dude

Pretty easy to do once you've found the grommet.
I'm running twin 0 gauge (power and ground) fits nicely! :D

Used a net curtain wire to find my way through from bonnet to footwell.

It's fully documented in the "Steve's Leon install diary" (parts 1 - 4) threads in the install section of ICECAVERN.CO.UK
