Hey all,

Any one know good in-depth car (engine) books?

I really want, once and forall, understand all the shit people are talking about here (what's a wastegate for example), and in-depth look at how engines work...... (not the usual boring stuff like air goes in here, fuel there, kaboom - you're riding at 300Km/h). :D

Many thanks!

If you want basic stuff, probably best to get urself acquainted first if you are unfamiliar with basic terms like wastegate rather than jump in at the deep end, then have a look at howstuffworks.com

Bill recommends "maximum boost" by Corkey Bell for turbo'd cars, not read it myself cos i dont need to (i wish :p )
