please help
i am booked in with jabba for next month for chip and boost controller.
I know my girlfriend will not be impressed so i need suggestions as to how i can justify it!
The old "its my car and its my money" line will just annoy!

"it will improve fuel economy" (oddly, that's true)
"provide safer overtaking" (also true)
"allow me to reduce power when icy/in snow for safety" (boost controller)
"make me happy, and you want me to be happy - don't you?"
"stop me from having to dump you for.." ;)
Oh, just do it Rob! Get her some new shoes or something ;)

Jesus, if you cant do anything without worrying what she'll say when your not even married just think what it'll be like when you've got a ring on ya finger....;)
shes got abit of an environmental bee in her bonet.
thats why i think i`ll push the fuel economy savings.
reckon shes just jealous really that i can afford a spare 600quid. while she is still massivly sutdent overdrawn!

Bet she'll be driving round in some old heap which produces tons of pollution before long (if not already) :)

Nope, not sure when to do it.. I don't worry about chips atm cos i know it's gonna be done. Have to give up the car for three days tho!
