I am quite new to this forum, so excuse me if this is a dumb question:

Do we have someway on here to get a cheaper Forge DV?
By being a member of SeatCupra or something?

And how much are they after discount?

Thx,

Badger5 offers this forum a discounted Forge DV price of £82 inc vat plus £5P&P Special Delivery

DV007P is very popular.

What is the difference between the DV006 and the DV007?

From most peoples experiences seems to be that the 007P is the better suited DV, but i've run both types and found them both to work well.

I think the 006 requires slightly more maintenance to keep it working in tip top condition than the 007P does.

They also do a race valve now, with interchangeable springs to allow different setups, ie stiffer springs, less stiff, means varying opening and closing speeds of the valve.

DVR is a diaphragm DV remember. (comes with spare diaphragms and springs of different rates)

DV006P is much larger than 007P's, and can be a bit bulky for clearing the engine cover.

I run 006P most of the time, but don't run with an engine cover on these days.

is there a particular reason for having the engine cover on, or is it just there for effect.

Thanks

Effect.
Tidies the clutter up hiding beneath the cover.... plumbing and wires everywhere :p

Keeps heat in, which is less than ideal.
