My 195 65 R15 91V Firestones are worn out. I decided to change them. Alternatives are 195 65 R 15 91V Michelin Pilot Primacies and Bridgestone Potenza GIII s. There are 195 65 R 15 91H G III tyres. Speed limit is low (210 kmh) but I think this won’t be a problem. I see so many Boras, Golfs, Toledos around which have 91 H tyres. But my preferred alternatives are 205 60 R 15 91H (or 91 V) GIIIs. This will lower the car a bit (ca. 8mm ), so this will improve handling. This will also lower the top speed which is not much important for me.

So, what do you suggest me? Shall I buy 205 60 R 15 91H Bridgestone GIIIs ? Or should I use original size (195 65 R15 91 V)? But in this case I must buy Michelin because there is no 195 65 R15 91V GIII.

Which one is better, Pilot primacy or GIII?. Pilot Primacy is better than Turanza ER 30 but is it better than GIII?

Thanks in advance ?

I've tried Pilot Premacy (primacy?) on my ZX Volcane ~ good tyres (specially in the wet).

It'd go for the 205/60 too ~ although sidewalls will be the same height, the tyre will be a slightly "squarer" design.

I checked it yesterday. It is Pilot Primacy..

But I saw another option. h or v segment Conti Premium Contact. It seems a good tyre.

Come on !! Nobody here uses Pilot Primacy or Potenza GIII or Conti Premium Contact ?

I like the Primacy myself. I've also used the continental tyres, but don't really like them (they didn't last long either).

Hi Folks

I had the primacy tyres on from 'new' really good lasting tyres but they do get very noisy as they wear down. Also the grip diminishes pretty quickly towards the last quarter of wear. (I got 20k our of the fronts, rears were 2/3 worn by then)

I went for Goodyear F1's (GSD3's) (Mine are 205 55 16's W rated)But I don't know if they do them in 15"!

Grippier, quieter - great wet weather performance - and they seem to last too!

No they don't..But they make 205 60 15 (GSD2). It is an expensive tyre.

Potenza GIII, Pilot Primacy, Eagle NCT 5, Conti Premium Contact, P7 etc...Ahhhhhhhh..

This indecisiveness will kill me (I fear that I will go in an accident).
