View Full Version : Revo and trade in.......
What do you guys think is the best position when trading in a revo'd car. Switch it to normal and say nothing, or try to use it as a selling point. I'm not sure, as it could go either way - some people might not like the idea of a chip, but for others it might clinch a deal. Anybody got any experience with this?
A dealer wouldn't give you jack for your software unless it was an outfit like Fontains perhaps.
As for whether to tell a private buyer - why not question them and find out whether they intend chipping, whether they would buy a chipped car, would they pay extra etc etc.
This is the way a car salesman would work you. Find out what customers want, how much they want it and how much they will pay etc etc.

Ed's spot on.
Dealer trade in say nought
Private, try to gauge the buyer.
