Anyone have any ideas or tips on keeping my induction kit cool and running smoothly with cold air. i hear due to engine heat it can actually REDUCE power when a sports induction kit is fitted. homemade extra pipe running from induction kit to under car to increase cold air maybe? also any ideas on protecting cone filter from engine heat?

you need SPT- expect one of the SPT consultant staff along shortly.

You need an enclosed heatshield with cold air going to it, or move the whole lot away from the heat source. Construct it from aluminium or other reflective / heat defelective material. As enclosed as possible or hot air will still enter. Think of an oversized airbox with a huge intake.

Or just buy a dynatwist which has a heat shield and a cold air feed.
