I entered my details for a quote on the Leon R and I got back over 20 results only 2 were for the R and were sky high. The rest ranged from Ibizas to Leon TDis and an Arose for good value!!!
If their service worked it may be worth using, bit it doesn't.

F**K ME!! cheapest quote out of 30?? £1900!!!,i think ill stick with my current tesco policy off £1200!!!
The keyword is possible. 20vt ibiza for me £525 fully comp. Its easy to use so worth a try for a saving.
My last quote was in March, so just ran it again.
Fully comp 30yr old full claims/cleveland/ibiza 20vt. Norwich union direct £498.37 with £25 cash back.

I'm paying about £600 now, the best they could come up with is £952. Oh please let me pay a third more for my insurance with a less respected company than I'm with now!

Tried Confused a few times and they have always been way too expensive on previous quotes.
I'm currently with Norwich Union via a broker, they are excellent, they let me put a courtesy car on foc when my car was at the dealers for coil packs as well.
I think i should make it clear I DONT WORK FOR CONFUSED OR ANY INSURANCE COMPANYS. I am a heating engineer who was told about the site, and got what i think is not to bad a quote. I just posted it in the hope of saving people a few quid.

I'm with Elephant, sooooooooo cheap and good service for me!
Recently tried Confused again and came up with the best quote so far (with elephant.co.uk) of £680.
Then my broker rang last Friday (currently with Norwich Union) and said will I be renewing my premium with them (£770!), I said I will be renewing, but not with them, and she confirmed that elephant are very good on pricing as you deal directly with them.
Anyway.... I said how about I take the wife off my insurance (she never drives it anyway) and she said ok that's £480 now - result!
Othe thing is.... if I put the wife on some insurance sites the premium goes down, some others it goes up? :confused:
Confused came up trumps for me last year, and actually swayed me towards the Ibiza :)
This year they weren't so good.
It works for some, but not all, still handy though :)

seeing as tho ur ibiza has been slightly modified , that quote sounds quite high , have u tried a quote with Adrian flux , they specialize with modified cars , it depends on ur age and no claims ,but they r quite good
