View Full Version : stupid question
right ive done all the research on fitting the k04 and now ive got it on, i have to get it setup correctly and i havent done much at this end. can i just "insert" a tt or s3 program onto my own ecu or is there more setting up than that? im lost at this end of things.ps ive a 4bar fpr on order and trying to source a set of tt injectors.
Don't think U can just throw on a TT remap on the beeza. Most probably new code for a beeza w/4 bar fpr & K04 turbo must be developed.

did you make it to kirkistown today for the trackie?? if so how did the motor go?
Can you not use a fully programmable ECU? Gives you a chance to re-tweek when more bits go on.

if thats the case, triple seven in cookstown (not a million miles from you) sell and config motec, lumenition and then dastek unichip piggybackers.
thats exactly what i would do if it was in a mk2 golf, but with the car being 2001, i need to keep the emission gear.
as for the track day, made it in the daily driver, about 2 inch of downpipe still to make.some plonker put a v6 clio into the tyres and then did a runner before anyone could check the damage.got a run as passenger in a couple of 8v gtis, i honestly didnt realise how hard they drive, although the track itself is less severe than i thought(smoother), but that is mental the way they treat those cars.
