look for posts regarding the ihi/jabbasport conversion. bill has 350 odd bhp at the moment and looking for more! other than that the only thing comes close is a k04 conversion but i doubt if thatll get you your magic 300bhp!

Forget your Upsolute chip.... you will need a different turbo to get to your desired power.

Jabbasport do their IHI conversion from £1700 approx, and a remap is required on anything like this sort of conversion.

Actually, my insurance company said that my premium would go up by roughly 10% if I get the IHI conversion! :) (Greenlight Insurance)

With a KKK K-16 conversion you´ll reach about 290 BHP, but it requires a new exhaust manifold, new downpipe, more intercooler and a few other mods... :)
More info from:
Link to Oettinger (http://www.oettinger.de/navi_e.php?motor_id=48)
It´s for an Audi S3, but it´s the same engine.
Good Luck!

Too expensive and very odd clauses.

Jabbasport all the way cost for the 300 bhp kit will be around £3.8K all in coz you'll need to change the exhaust which will set you back another £650 squid or so.

2030 + vat for IHI kit + £350 labour + £425 for custom remap + exhaust

Not long till I get the 350 bhp kit so all in all about £4.3K for me!!!!!!

I too have a quote from Jabba and whilst your total is about the same, the exhaust does not cost £650!!! More like £295!

What don't Greenlight cover? I'm with them and they've been really good. I'm just interested incase there is something I think I'm covered for that you have found that I'm not.

Who are HIC? Do they cover trackdays?

I was with Adrian Flux and they are great when you first get a quote but once you sign up their custoemr services are sh1te! They are rude (If you don't like something they tell you to clear off to another company!), and absolutely any mod they charge you for!!! With Greenlight I have added the Brembo brakes, now ARBs etc and they haven't charged me a thing, Adrian Flux say that they wont increase the premium for such mods but will charge £20-£50 admin fee to update their records!!! Also, they haven't been as cheap as Greenlight.

Green light doesnt insure Wales, they were my first phone call! Adrian Flux have been good upto now and have gave me a god quote on my mods with no others planeed in the immediate future so admin fees are not a worry for me. We will soon see

The exhaust does but you'll also need the sports CAT for conversions of 300+ bhp which is another £350

True, but i considered the Race Cat and downpipe seperately as they are not part of the Jetex system. Not to worry. :)

Cheers
