ice, u ever taken ur seats out of the leon for running cables etc r do u no of any1 who has cos im not sure about the air bag sensors is there a procedure?

Well all I did was make sure the key was out of the ignition...
Then unbolted the seats and unplugged the airbag wiring...
Then made sure it was all in and plugged in properly before I switched the ignition on...

With my last car (non SEAT) they suggest disconnecting the battery. Wait 15mins (I presume for any caps to discharge) and then take the seat out.
When reinstalling wait a few mins before putting the key in the ignition after everythings connected up again and STAND WELL BACK. ie window down and put the key in through the open window.
