Thanks to the new serial port programming, from Starperformance.
Dont have a scanner so i cant put the graphs up, will maybe enter the apropriate values into Excel and do it that way. Might be able to get it done at work.
Its a nice smoke free program.
The standard figs were 131 bhp and 218 ft lb, seems the engine will require abit more running in. once its done another few 1,000 miles it should be producing 180 bhp & 295 ft lb :D
Havent had much of a chance to try it, so will bee looking out for a 4motion golf over the next few days ;0
Thanks Jim, top banana.
Nice One !
What did you pay in the end as I know you were concerned at the price of revo ?

£499 all in
Its wasnt just the price, the fact that for me to get revoed would mean a 500mile round trip was a pain in the bum to say the least.
Seems a good program, feels smoother the standard, there is less of a jump when boost comes in, torque peaks 500rpm higher now.
Will try and scan in the Graph tomorrow at work and put it up.
Was a nice install, with 3 dyno runs to get the best program for myself.
Considering the car will def get more powerfull over the next 5k is the bolloxs
opfull will get a chance to test my new found power on way home from work tomorrow, any takers ;)
sounds good, but adding ni on 50bhp, you must up the suspension.

Your havein a larf...Dont need to up anything, i will not be taking the car on the track, the most it will get is a punt along a nice B road and balst up and down th motorway once a week. Not going to tax much.
Would be nice to lower the suspention just from a looks point of view as its a smidgin to high. 25mm off would do the trick.
Slim_boy where about do you live? Wouldn't mind a wee blast vs ur TDi @ crail.

well that sounds good, when i see you next i'll get it scanned for you.
sounds like the best all tound option - no smoke and lots of torque. be interesting to see it RR'd in 6 months time on same rollers.
At least you'll be able to keep up now :D

Eh? more power = less economy, so why worry ?

Not always true, sometimes overall economy improves after power upgrades, especially motorway cruising....

It's okay SBF doesnt drive hard n fast, or if he does you wouldnt know it :D
There are many peeps on here with Revo stuff at 180 & 300lb/ft on the 130TDi Sport, should they all be worried too ?
Can the failure be directly related to the power increase, there has been another case where one failed when getting tuned, but not before it was done, so sometimes cars have major mechanical failures without chipping as well.
I am chipping my BMW 320d up to 190Bhp and 290lbft torque, I shall probably go the upsolute route. I cannot belive the number of tunning options available for Turbo Diesel's.
