I would just like to thank Richard at Revo for giving my Cupra the treatment at long last. The car now seems smoother and a lot more responsive than before. I was unable to try it to the full extent on Friday, Mother in the car, know what I mean? but I did try it today! Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!

One query, at around 2.5k, there seems to be an hesitation, almost like a misfire, any idea? I have sent an e-mail to Richard, and I am waiting for his reply. This is when the programme is set to 98ron with Optimax, I have not tird setting to standard yet, to see if it cures it.

Stu (now even more smiles)

Get your dealer to check the coil caps, I upgraded a Leon the other week and he had exactly the smae problem at about 2750 -3250 rpm even using Optimax. He took the car back to the dealer, who changed the coil caps and the car is now perfect.

Coil caps seem to be a common problem with the 1.8T engine.

I have got 4 spare Ignition coils at home, I purchased them when they were in VERY short supply, at a premium though, so I will get my dealer to check them out next time I pass them. Otherwise I am very happy with the differance it has made to my car.
