17511 Fault code coming back all the time

2001 Mk3 Ibiza Cupra

Keep getting this about every 2 weeks, did some searching and I gather its the pre Cat sensor on the downpipe, would it be worth replacing? or wait till it goes completely?


17511 - Oxgen (lambda) sensor heating:B1 S1: Performance too low
P1103 - 35 -10 - - - Intermittent

Pre lambda sensor would effct you fuleling.
Well try this, remove the sensor, clean it, and refit. do the same same to the connectors, possible add eletric grease (jus a tad- good for conductivity).
Clear fault, take the car for a spin, recheck.
Theres a measuring block that check lambda heating by running tests. you may want to consider that. If that fails, replace.
