Why no oilburner yet? If you're in the Know. What will it be 2.016v, 1.4. or the old 1.9PD. Bernie
Apparently they are going to put the 5.0-litre V10 TDI from the Touareg into the MK5 derv Ibiza Cupra..

1.4 PD in the ecomotive in march time
The 1.4TDI-PD(80) & 1.9TDI-PD(105) are already available in mainland Europe from june(08)... The 1.6CR-TDI 85-135hp should replace these over the next few years!

1.9 105ps Avaliable from Jan as well as the Ecomotive.
The engines will be changed later in the year, but as there is a demand for the current engines they are avaliable to order now 1.9 105 PS Sport guise only iirc.
The DSG is also avaliable from Jan too.
HTH
Was hoping for a FR version with at least 130bhp. I can't understand why VAG are still fitting 1.9PD's when the the 2.016v. engines have been around for 4yrs. now.

Probably just a stop gap till the new 1.6CR TDi comes out. Iv also heard there'll be a 135bhp version of the 1.6. Perfect for the new FR
