Has anyone used either the SEAT dealer in Southend-on-sea or Colchester as those are my two nearest people.

Sods law that Jones of Chelmsford, who were very good shut down about 4 weeks before my Cupra R arrived. The main speaker in the drivers door distorts so I need to get that checked. So anyone recommend a dealer close to Chelmsford/South Woodham Ferrers?

I've used Miller & Middleton in Colchester for 3+ years and never had any problems with them.

Quite a small dealership but very friendly and down to earth.

Ditto, and they don't mind working cars that have been 'fettled', although I kept quiet about the Revo ;)

Not being able to service/repair every aspect of the vehicle (air con), overtightening wheel bolts to the extent where you couldent get em off, poor customer service..........

When I picked up my Cupra, which I bought from the old Jones stock after the the change over, Helix were just waiting for the paperwork to come through to allow them to do SEAT warranty work.

Might be worth giving them a call seeing what situation is and save yourself a journey. Especially as it sounds like a new speaker, and not a mechanical problem.
