Brought my cupra a few weeks ago but only got one key with my car,the dealer where i got the car from (focus,camberley) said they would send me the other key when ready. sods law is its the key with the central locking button!! anyway someone somewhere must have entered the wrong key code to the car cuz ive had three keys and none of them fit!! focus told me to get it cut from a local key cutting place but i went to one and they said they or no where else would be able to do it due to the chip in the key!!! will be speaking to Seat dealer in Norwich next week but just wondered anyone had the same problem or anyone got any ideas what else i can do????
Again, your local dealer should be able to sort this for you and to recode the new key.

i would have thaught that the car would need to be there for them to code a key. i could be wrong but i dont think so
When you dealer (or whoever) gets you a replacement key then they will need the car and ALL the keys to complete the coding process as if you only code one key then it wipes out the others.
get a proper metal part cut and stick the chip from the wrong ones in it ??

ask for john - show him the key you need
10 mins later take em all to a dealer and get the chips added and coded
